1964 New York World's Fair - Walking Tour
If I recall correctly, this was the New York State exhibit, and it was
fairly near the entrance.
Fair organizer's left no stone unturned in trying to build excitement,
including elephant parades. I do not know who the person is in the photo,
but it is proof tht there were nerds during the 60's.
Again leaving no stone unturned, an aerial tramway was strung over the
fair. The globular roof marked snack shops scattered around the fair grounds.
The Unisphere was built to last. Are there really high mountains in west
central Australia as represented?
The aerial tramway ended near the Unisphere.
